Thai yoga massage is for relaxation and this is not meant to diagnose or treat any illness, disease or any other physical or mental disorder, injury or condition. You will inform me about your state of health and of any recommendations and restrictions on the part of your doctor or therapist insofar as Thai yoga massage is concerned.
Traditional Thai yoga massage is performed on a mat on the floor through a series of postures, some of which resemble yoga positions. It is applied with palming and thumbing, using hands, feet and elbows to apply rhythmic pressure along the body’s energy lines, combined with gentle stretching. A typical Thai yoga massage lasts for an hour and thirty minutes.
“I had a head and neck massage. The only way to describe it was sheer bliss. I have never experienced this before but I most certainly will again.” Maureen Strange
“I thought this was amazing – a thai massage where I don’t have to do anything. The therapist does all the work…I even managed to fall asleep, shows how good he was! Definitely worth recommending.” Anita Patel
“I was visiting my father in England and was in sore need of a massage to get the kinks out after a long flight from California. Rajiv was a lucky find – it’s a hit or miss affair when seeking a new massage provider, especially when away from home. The massage was nothing short of first class + Rajiv wasn’t watching the clock either – he continued until all of my knots had been removed & left it up to me as to whether to pay a little extra. Sometimes I like complete silence when receiving a massage. On this occasion, however, I enjoyed a fascinating chat with Rajiv. His family background is very interesting and he’s a true Renaissance man who couldn’t stand school but who has applied himself with rigor to his multiple careers. If I’d have been in the country for more than just a few days, I’d have had another session and Rajiv will certainly be one of my first “ports of call” next time I’m over.” Andrew Griffiths
